SINGAPORE'S first professional cybergamers have landed contracts that will pay them each US$30,000 (S$44,000) a year to play.

Singapore Slingers Professional Basketball Team Opening Game

To me, basketball is always one of the best sports for e-sports to learn from.
Being an ex-basketball player and coach myself, I find many parallels between basketball and team-based e-Sports like DOTA and CS 5v5.
